Pack contains 10 white, oblong, biconvex, scored, film-coated tablets packed in plastic/aluminium strips.

Composition

Each film-coated tablet contains 750 mg of ciprofloxacin (as ciprofloxacin hydrochloride).

Indications

FLUOXINE is used in adults to treat the following bacterial infections:

• Respiratory infections.
• Chronic or recurring ear or sinus infections.
• Urinary tract infections.
• Testicular infections.
• Genital infections in women.
• Gastrointestinal infections and intra-abdominal infections.
• Skin and soft tissue infections.
• Bone and joint infections.
• Treatment of infections in patients with severely low white blood cell counts (neutropenia).
• Prevention of infection in patients with severely low white blood cell counts (neutropenia).
• Prevention of infection caused by Neisseria meningitidis in patients with severe white blood cell deficiency (neutropenia).
• Prevention of exposure to inhaled anthrax bacteria.
