Composition

Cefixime as trihydrate 100 mg/5 ml.

Dosage

Each bottle = 40 ml of reconstituted suspension = 8 graduated doses or 8 dosage units per 25 kg.

Indications

IXINE is used to treat the following infections:

• Acute pyelonephritis without urinary tract abnormalities.
• Lower urinary tract infections, complicated or uncomplicated, except prostatitis.
• Secondary bacterial infection of acute bronchitis and exacerbation of chronic bronchitis.
• Pneumonia of possible bacterial origin.
• Bacterial urethritis in men caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
